Crops in the Hoop Houses are Happy - and So Are We!

The pole beans are huge and climbing to the sky! The cherry tomatoes are almost 7 feet high. The crops in the hoop houses are loving the extra heat and protection from the cold nights we have been having.

We harvest about 6000 bulbs of garlic last week and they are curing and drying out in our pavilion. In about 3-4 weeks they will be dry enough to trim off the stems and clean off the outside skins. Then we will have garlic bulbs for sale.

We moved the baby chicks into the portable coop and they are loving the extra space. Soon they will be large enough wander around in the outside fenced area. We'd love to show you their new home if you or your kids want to see them during your next visit to the farm during our Wednesday evening Farmers Market from 4-6PM.
