Stone Coop Farm is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person for the 2012 season. The job will be a full time position helping us with our 2 locations in Brighton, MI. We will be growing 6 acres of vegetables this year for our 90 member CSA, Farmers Market, and wholesale accounts. It is our 2nd year and we are looking for someone who has some farming experience that wants to learn and share their knowledge with us. We have one 30x96 hoop house now and will be adding a greenhouse in March and two 30x144 hoop houses in April. Besides daily field work, candidate would be expected to work Farmers Market every other Saturday, and CSA Distribution on Wednesday evenings. We also have several volunteers, kids, and work share members, so candidate should be good at working and training other folks on how to effectively plant, weed, and harvest.
